Join

You will complete three, 30-minute electronic assessments over 12 months.  

Assessments include:
•    Completing a web-based survey 
•    Getting your and your child’s weight on the scale that was mailed to you when you joined the study
•    Allowing Head Start staff to share your child’s height and weight measurements

When you enroll, you will receive access to the weSIPsmarter web-based program that you will complete over 9 weeks: 
•    During the first six weeks, the program will take approximately 30-40 minutes of your time each week.  After that, there are no specified time commitments.  You can use the website as often as you like over the 12 months.

You can join the study by doing the following:

1.    Complete the Interest form available on this website.
2.    A Study Coordinator will call you to review the Interest form. During the phone call, you may be asked a few more questions to see if you qualify.  
3.    If you qualify, the Study Coordinator will go through the consent form with you.  The consent process makes sure that you are fully informed about the study.
4.    When you are ready, you will provide your verbal consent to join the study.
